The Best Travel Gifts for Your Valentine 2022

Although travel may still be restricted, it doesn’t mean we can’t shop for a good deal on a travel gadget for an upcoming trip This year, I’ve put together some of the many travel items I’ve tried (and love) for you to purchase for that special travel-lover in your life.

Cash Back

Make sure you earn cash back while shopping all of the Black Friday deals through free portals like Rakuten.

To Make Packing Easier

The best gift for travelers who like to stay organized when packing is travel cubes. Hands down. These have saved me so much space and have kept my luggage neat and tidy.

Having a luggage scale can be helpful, especially since many airlines have begun to weigh cabin bags and I’m prone to over shopping on some trips (*cough* Italy).

Useful (and Fun) Travel Gifts

I’ve done the backpacker thing, but have now reverted back to using a carry-on-size suitcase with wheels. I chose to purchase my new luggage from Rimowa. After falling for the over-advertised influencer “favorites”, I’ve found that Rimowa suitcases are truly a step above all other brands.

The perfect tote bag does exist, and it comes from Dagne Dover.

If you’ve ever purchased too many to-go snack items and drinks in the airport, this adjustable drink carrier will change your life.

Keeping my hats from absolute annihilation in my luggage is a must, so this hat box disguised as a backpack follows me on every trip.

Sleeping in economy was impossible before purchasing the Trtl Pillow.

I didn’t think I’d ever be that person who has a raincoat for my handbags, but I love how it keeps my investments from water damage. Alternatively, an indestructible umbrella is great to keep you dry.

To reduce paranoia before you take your travel-official PCR test, you can take an antigen test at-home prior.

For the Eco Traveler

To reduce plastic use and keep my drink cold, I don’t travel without my Hydroflask water bottle. But if you’re traveling ultra-light, you’ll be able to sterilize water anywhere with a SteriPen.

Metal straws have really enabled me to stop using plastic straws – and I always bring extras to share.

Reusable Stasher Bags have been incredibly helpful when packing a snack – or toiletries.

For the Aviation Enthusiast

Give the gift of lounge access. Priority Pass is essential for those long layovers.

Send them somewhere on one of the world’s best airlines! Flying with Qatar is one of the best long-haul experiences I’ve ever had.

Techie Travel

There’s not always reliable Wi-Fi in hotels or on trains, so to stay connected I use Solis.

With the Mophie Powerstation Plus Mini, I’m able to keep my devices charged while on the go.

I joined the drone club and it’s elevated my travel photography. If you’re looking to stay light but get great pics, the Mini 2 will bring you to the next level.

Small (but Thoughtful) Gifts

Using Tile has helped ease my paranoia when checking a bag since I’m able to keep track of its location.

You can’t ever go wrong with gifting a universal power converter.

Sleeping has always been an issue for me, so I use the scent of lavender to help me doze off.

Gift Cards for Travelers

A gift card for Booking.com, Expedia, or Hotels.com are always appreciated by a traveler. Plus, it allows them to choose from thousands of hotels and apartments across the globe!

Coffee Table Travel Books

Live la dolce vita and take your living room visitors to Capri.

Impress guests with fifty iconic drinks from around the world – cheers!

To me, food is an imperative part to travel – and this book made me drool.
