Koh Lanta

Koh Lanta is a series of three small, incredibly quiet and peaceful islands south of Krabi on the western coast of Thailand. This tranquil destination is often overlooked by travelers, but it is worth the trip. Since the islands are small and relatively crime free, lenient law enforcement allows bars to stay open on the beach as long as they please, which is usually until the last person drops.

Where To Stay
Klong Dao Beach and Phra Ae are both great areas of Koh Lanta with plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants shops and entertainment. Staying in these areas allow visitors to remain central while having easy access to transportation to other areas on the islands.
