Bratislava

Slovakia Bridge

The beautiful capital of Slovakia is located along the Danube River near the borders of Austria and Hungary. Bratislava is one of Europe’s most affordable capitals, and its 18th century Old Town is known for its lively cafes and bars. This clean, fun and energetic (bargain) city makes Vienna seem stagnant and Prague over-touristy. Don’t skip over Bratislava like the majority of visitors to Europe – it truly is a city worth exploring!

Where To Stay
Bratislava is small in comparison to other European cities, which makes it easy for visitors to get around. The Old Town area of the city is a beautiful, central location within walking distance of many of this city’s main tourist attractions and easy access to Bratislava’s public transportation. Old Town has many different accommodations – from hostels to five-star hotels.
