Zagreb

Zagreb Cathedral

Zagreb is Croatia’s inland capital, and it is distinguished by its beautiful medieval architecture and unique museums. The city is a year-round destination perfect for strolling the streets, wandering into one of the many museums, tasting delicious sweets in a busy café, and seeing a performance at the beautiful National Theatre.

Where To Stay
Staying near the Main Square or Upper Town allows visitors to remain central, but it also has the highest prices in the city. Staying near Britanski trg still allows visitors to remain central, but the prices are much lower than the touristy areas. Britanski trg also has a metro stop that connects with other parts of the city, and has a direct route to the bus station.
