Plzen

CZ Plzen Square

Located approximately 90 kilometers (55 miles) to the west of Prague, Plzeň was Europe’s 2015 Capital of Culture. Although Plzeň may not have the elaborate and opulent spa-town appeal of nearby Karlovy Vary, Plzeň’s blue-collar heritage and lively student population ensure visitors a fun experience.

Where To Stay
Namĕsti Republiký is Plzeň’s most centrally located area. Staying close to this large square is your best option while in town. Not only is it the most historical area of this city, but also within walking distance are many historical sites, dining, and bars.
